The Golden Snowball Award is a contest between 5 cities in CNY - Upstate New York. The contest is based on which city receives the most snowfall for the snow season. The cities that compete are Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton, Rochester and last years Champion, Syracuse. A trophy is awarded to the winning city every year.

Big gains this weekend for the Cuse. Nice move. ROC slacked this weekend!
Go Syracuse. I recently moved to the Northern Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio, and we've received about 3 inches of snow so far. Down here, that's enough to call in the National Guard and cause people to stock up on bread and milk.
I miss the 'Cuse and it's record breaking snowfall.
ZR, I thought for sure it was between Rochester and Syracuse this weekend. I was surprised by the numbers to be honest with you. Still a lot of snow left to fly though.

Patrick, Yep, I was in Syracuse the past three years. I just moved back to Kentucky in August. One day last month, they were calling for 1-2 inches of snow, and I kid you not, it made front page news.
